Eurovision winning singer, Dana, will sing at the Connacht Fleadh Mass in St Muredach’s Cathedral in Ballina in July.
The Mass will be celebrated on Sunday July 2nd at 11am.
Following the awarding of the community Fleadh to Ballina last week, to run alongside the Connacht Fleadh competitions, Joint PRO’s Eamonn Walsh and Cllr John O’Hara are appealing to organisations in the region to come on board and showcase their group/ club during the week of the Fleadh which will run from June 23rd – July 2nd.
Its the first time in the history of Comhaltas that a Community Fleadh will be run as a pilot scheme.
The Fleadh in Ballina has an ambitious programme of events that will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
