Plans to cut the cost of solar panel installations go to Cabinet this morning.
Scrapping the VAT on the panels will result in an average saving of 1,000 euro.
However, Sinn Féin is warning the Government needs to move fast alleging some people have put projects on hold until the changes come into effect.
