Public opinion is split over the ending of the eviction ban.
45 per cent of people surveyed in an 'Ireland Thinks' poll in today's Sunday Independent DISAGREE with the government's decision to end the ban on Friday night.
That's compared to 40 per cent who AGREE.
The poll also shows strong support for landlords, with almost half believing small landlords are treated unfairly.
