67 new or enhanced bus services have been proposed to connect more towns and town-lands nationwide.
The Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan will see 20 of the routes delivered by Bus Eireann to the Galway, Waterford, Clare and Cork.
Some of the routes are already in operation, while others are in the procurement, and planning and design stages.
The National Transport Authority says that the services will "develop connectivity and mobility in rural areas."
