
There are 535 people waiting for beds in Irish hospitals, according to today’s INMO Trolley Count.
Cork University Hospital tops the list with 54 people waiting for beds, with University Hospital Limerick just behind on 50.
Regionally, Sligo University Hospital have a waiting list of 34, while there are 22 in Mayo University Hospital, 18 in Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe, and 14 in University Hospital Galway.
Of the overall figure, there are 6 waiting patients who are under the age of 16.
St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin are not accounted for in the tally as they were not in a position to provide the INMO with a ward figure.
