The Garda Representative Association says a 'proper plan' is needed to get members appropriately placed on the vaccination priority list.
Senior Garda management met with the GRA yesterday and confirmed that officers will be allowed accept 'left over' doses.
The Association welcomed the move, but says it's a 'failure' of leadership that Gardai aren't listed among the highest priority groups.
It says officers are critical frontline workers who are at high risk of catching Covid 19.
