769 new cases were confirmed here last night, which is the highest number since the end of February.

Across the region there are 12 patients with the virus receiving treatment at Mayo University Hospital, 11 at Sligo Hospital, 5 at the Portiuncula Hospital and 4 at University Hospital Galway.
This includes two on critical care beds in Galway and one apiece in Sligo and the Portiuncula.
Meanwhile, the INMO’s latest trolley watch figures show that there are 19 patients awaiting beds in Sligo, 11 in Mayo, 5 in Galway and 1 at the Portiuncula.
