Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary to a business premise in Castlebar last night.
The robbery occurred at approximately 9p.m at a shop on Davitt Terrace in the town.
A man entered the shop armed with a knife and demanded items from the business.
He subsequently left the scene.
No persons were injured during the course of this incident.
Gardaí say investigations into this matter are ongoing.
