
A Roscommon man, who died in a road collision in Donegal last week, was laid to rest in Co Sligo earlier today.
Ronan Healy from Ballyfarnon in Co Roscommon, who was in his 30's, died in a collision between a car and a van at Ballintra, near Donegal town, on Thursday morning last.
He was rushed to Sligo University Hospital, but died that afternoon.
Mr Healy lived in Ballintogher, Sligo with his wife and baby son.
He was a talented footballer and a member of St Ronan's GAA Club in his native Roscommon.
His funeral Mass took place earlier today in St Teresa's Church, Ballintogher with burial afterwards in Carrowcrin cemetery.
