
Primary schools nationwide have fully re-opened today.
Third to sixth class pupils went back to their classrooms for the first time this year.
Fifth year students have also returned to second level classrooms today, as part of the Government's second phase of reopening.
Midwest News Editor Teresa O'Malley has been speaking to two students in Breaffy National School,Castlebar about getting back into school today – Sarah Jane is in Mr Moran’s 6th class and Abigail is in Mr Shevlin’s 6th class. Breaffy National School is a large school with more than 400 students and today it has introduced additional services for students and their parents. It now boasts a new Breakfast club before school opening times, together with an extended after school service.
