A man in his 30s, arrested over a 70,000 euro drugs seizure in Galway, has been charged.

He will appear before Galway District Court on the 29th of this month.

70 thousand euro worth of cocaine was found by Gardai during a search of a premises on the Headford Road on Friday night.

Drug paraphernalia was also recovered.
