359 people with Covid-19 are being treated in Irish hospitals today.

It's a drop of 2 percent from yesterday's total, while it's a 15 percent fall from last Friday.

In the past 24 hours there were 32 admissions to hospitals and 25 discharges.

There are 22 patients with the virus being treated at Mayo University Hospital, the fourth highest total nationwide.

Elsewhere across the region, there are six people being treated for the virus at Galway University Hospital- up one and two at Sligo Hospital.

Overnight in ICU, there were 87 people with the disease in ICU.

There are four patients with the virus on critical care beds in Galway and three in Sligo.
