Another 539 people have tested positive for Covid-19, and 14 more infected with the virus are confirmed dead.

Nine of those patients passed away this month.

245 of today's new infections are in Dublin, with 42 in Meath, 29 in Kildare, 26 in Limerick, and 24 in Cork.

There are 21 new cases Galway, 15 in Mayo, less than 5 in both Roscommon and Sligo.

There were no new infections recorded in Leitrim.

414 people are being treated in hospital today after 22 more people were admitted, with 101 receiving intensive care.
