Details

Funding of 295,000 has been confirmed for Belleek in Ballina.

€200,000 has been allocated for the Monasteries Trail in Ballina, for a trail extension to Belleek Woods, and additional section of the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway and Western Way.

Funding of 95,000 euro has also been confirmed to go towards the continued refurbishment of the Gate Lodge at Belleek.

Many listeners will be familiar with driving under the iconic structure as you enter Belleek.

Deputy Calleary says this a further investment in developing the Belleek area into one of the most attractive areas in the country.
