Details

A special meeting of Mayo County Council is to take place virtually on Monday next, with the final seal of approval expected for the appointment of Mr Kevin Kelly as the new CE of Mayo County Council.

Mr Kelly has served as interim chief executive of Galway County Council for many years.

He is set to take over the helm of the Mayo authority from interim CE Peter Duggan, who took over from Peter Hynes who retired as CE of the authority last May, after serving in the position for a decade.

The special meeting of the authority gets underway at 11am on Monday.
