A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal for tonight and tomorrow.

Met Eireann is warning of heavy rain tonight, following by frequent showers tomorrow which will give accumulations of between 30 and 40mm, bringing a risk of localised flooding.

The rainfall warning comes into effect from 8pm this evening until midnight tomorrow night.
