Claremorris post office is closed temporarily this week due to circumstances beyond the control of An Post.
Public Affairs Manager with An Post Angus Laverty told Midwest News this morning that in the interim payments from the Department of Social Protection to customers will be paid at Ballyhaunis post office. Other services will be available at other post offices in the area.
Mr Lavery explained that An Post hopes to resume service at Claremorris on Monday, January 25th and regrets any inconvenience to customers.
