Thirteen hospitals nationwide have no ICU capacity left.
These include hospitals in Galway, Letterkenny, Portlaoise, Navan and Naas, according to statistics from the HSE.
32 intensive care beds are available nationwide across both adult and pediatric units.
The latest available figures show that 1,846 people with Covid-19 are in hospitals this morning, which includes 171 in ICU.
According to figures from the HSE as of 8pm last night there were 130 patients with the virus at Galway University Hospital- up three, 84 at Mayo University Hosptial- up four, 32 in Sligo- down 6 and 11 at the Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe- which is unchanged on the previous 24 hours.
The number of patients with the virus in critical care beds shows 11 in Galway, 2 at the Portiuncula and 1 in Sligo.
HSE CEO Paul Reid says hospitals are still coping.
