Details

A new development of 22 new social houses in Castlebar is now going to tender.

The Housing Minister Darragh O'Brien has confirmed the long-awaited development at Lois na Circe, Saleen has now been approved, and Mayo County Council has been given the go-ahead to proceed to tender, and appoint the successful contractor.

That's according to Mayo FG Deputy Alan Dillon who told Midwest News that this development will help to alleviate the large number of families on the housing waiting list in the Castlebar area.
