There is traffic disruption in Ballyhaunis at present due to a collision. The collision occurred in the town square just after 1pm this afternoon.

Gardai say two vehicles were involved in the incident. The emergency services are at the scene.

It’s understood that no life threatening injuries were sustained.

Gardai say, however, that it may take some time before the road is re-opened to traffic.
