Details

The HSE is to allow partners of pregnant women to attend the 20 week scan.

This hasn't been permitted since earlier this year because of concerns about the spread of Covid 19.

But now partners will be allowed to attend the scan following a campaign against the restrictions, and will also be allowed attend any surgical interventions.

Over 50 thousand people have signed a petition against the restrictions.
