Almost €240,000 has been announced for 7 school and community groups in Mayo under the Government’s CLÁR programme.
Fine Gael Deputy Alan Dillon welcomed the allocation of €239,551 for the projects under Measures 1 and 2 for Safety Measures and Recreational Areas under Government scheme.
The Secretary of the Fine Gael party says that the CLÁR programme is a great scheme to help make our communities better places to live, work and raise families.
He says that the funding is crucial to getting infrastructural works over the line once schools and community groups put the initiatives forward in cooperation with Mayo County Council.
Deputy Dillon told Midwest News that the funding will be a welcome boost to the seven communities benefitting from this round of funding.
