Details

Gardai in Galway have seized cannabis worth an estimated €20,000, and have arrested a man in connection with the seizure.

Members of the Galway Divisional Drugs Unit stopped and searched a man at Eyre Square shortly after 6 pm yesterday evening, and recovered the suspected cannabis herb.

The man, in his late teens, was arrested and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
