The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 5 additional deaths related to COVID-19.

As of midnight last night (6th October) 611 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported

218 of those cases in Dublin, 63 in Cork, 60 in Donegal, 35 in Galway, 31 in Kildare and the remaining 204 are located across 21 counties.
