Five Mayo community groups and organisations will received over €227,000 in funding in total, under the latest tranche of the Government's Covid-19 Stability Fund.
The funding is aimed at charities and organisations that are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic.
The largest grant of €74,727 goes to Foxford Sports & Leisure Centre, with over €62,000 for Leave No Trace, and almost €40,000 for Mayo Mental Health.
Over €27,000 has been allocated for Family Life Services, trading as The Family Centre, with just over €24,000 for Mayo Cancer Support at Rock Rose House in Castlebar.
The funding is provided from Dormant Accounts, and the one-off cash injections are for organisations that provide critical services for the most vulnerable in society.
