Respiratory hygiene, hand sanitizing and physical distancing will be the priority when school recommences next Tuesday in Claremorris.
That’s the strong message from the Principal of Mount St Michael’s Secondary School Fionnghuala King, as staff in the school make their final preparations ahead of the return of students next week.
Schools across the region have had to adapt their facilities to ensure a safe environment for students in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic.
The all girls’ school in Claremorris has made a number of changes to their premises including extending their canteen, installing outdoor benches and removing two-seater desks from their classrooms.
Mount St Michael Principal Fionnghuala King told Midwest News that she hopes pupils and their families feel assured and safe by the measures they have taken.
