Details

The funeral arrangements have been announced for a Galway woman's family who died in a Co. Donegal car accident.

Geraldine Mullan was the sole survivor of a car accident on Thursday night which tragically killed her husband and two children.

The Williamstown woman, whose parents are Martin and Margaret Connaughton, was travelling in the car with her family when it went off the road into Lough Foyle at around 10pm at night.

Her husband John and her children Tomás (14) and Amelia (6) drowned in the tragedy.

Ms Mullan managed to escape and was rescued before being rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital.

The funerals of John, Tomás and Amelia Mullan of Ballynally, Moville, Donegal will take place on Monday at 11am.

The house is private due to Government Guidelines.

A condolence book is available in Gaynor's Funeral Home, Castlerea and Smyths Filling Station, Williamstown.

Family flowers only.  Donations to Laura Lynn Children's Hospice c/o any family member. The funeral can be viewed on www.movilleparish.com on Monday at 11am.
