
Minister Ring has announced €505,000 cash injection for 10 Mayo community groups supporting the Covid 19 response. They include community and voluntary organisations, charities and Social Enterprises in Mayo supported through COVID-19 Stability Fund.
The Fund provides immediate, short term cash flow to qualifying organisations which provide critical services to those most vulnerable in society. The funding has been prioritised for those organisations which are most in need and have seen their trading and/or fundraising income drop significantly during the crisis.
This is the first tranche of funding allocations under the €35 million COVID-19 Stability Fund announced by the Minister in May. Further allocations will be made in the coming weeks.
