A Local Councillor has strongly criticised the decision of the Bank of Ireland to close their Branch in Ballinrobe.

 

Patsy O'Brien says this leaves no choice for service users only do transactions in Claremorris or Castlebar.

 

It is causing serious concern in the area and Councillor O'Brien has written to Bank of Ireland to reverse their decision on the back of government guidelines to shop local and avoid travel and keep to 2km to your home during the pandemic
