
Conradh na Gaeilge will meet with government officials today to discuss the decision to postpone all of this summer's Gaeltacht college courses.
The government announced earlier this week that no Irish language courses will be run in the Gaeltacht this summer, as a result of Covid-19.
This will impact on a number of Irish-language colleges in Mayo and Galway, and in Gaeltacht areas along the western seaboard.
Representatives from the Gaeltacht community are now calling for support packages for the summer colleges, teachers and the towns and villages affected.
