
Bus drivers across the west and nationally held a minute of silence this morning at 11am to honour their counterparts in the UK who have died from Covid-19.
Galway based, western executive for the National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU), Mark Greaney told Midwest News today that 26 public transport staff have died in the UK since the outbreak of the pandemic.
To remember their UK colleagues, Bus Eireann drivers across the country stopped work for one minute this morning to hold a minute of silence.
