The fuel allowance scheme is being extended for four weeks.
Mayo-based Minister Michael Ring has confirmed that, in response to the Covid-19 emergency, the Government has decided to extend the fuel allowance season by four weeks, from 10th April to 8th May.
Minister Ring says that, at a time where people are asked to stay at home, it makes sense to extend the fuel season for existing customers on a one-off basis.
