The N17 road between Knock and Claremorris has fully reopened, following an earlier collision.
Two cars were involved in a crash near the Barnacarroll junction shortly before 10am.
Gardai, ambulance and fire personnel attended the scene.
The drivers of both cars were taken to hospital as a precaution, and traffic was reduced to one lane for a time.
Gardai say the road has now fully reopened.
