The Newport road from Castlebar has fully reopened following an earlier collision.
One vehicle went off the road along a stretch of the R311 just outside the town.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road is now fully reopened to traffic both ways.
