Gardaí in Ballyhaunis are investigating a stabbing incident in the town in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Gardai were alerted to the incident at about 2am on Bank Holiday Monday, at Upper Main Street, Ballyhaunis.
A 23 year old man received stab wounds to his leg and arm, a second man, aged 26, was also injured.
Both men were removed from the scene to Mayo University Hospital.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing,
