Mayo County Council is holding a free drop-off event for household hazardous waste at the council depot in Kilkelly tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am to 2pm.

A number of hazardous waste items will be accepted free of charge - including paints and varnishes, oil and oil filters, glues and adhesives, aerosols, medicinal waste, batteries and herbicides.
