Details

The Western Development Commission has today announced that Tomás O Síocháin has been appointed by the Board of the WDC as Chief Executive Officer.

Tomás joins the organisation from NUI Galway, where he was External Engagement Programme Manager, having previously spent more than 14 years as an editor and journalist with RTE and TG4.

The WDC, established in 1998, advises the Government on policy for the Western region and plays a key role in regional development.
