Friends and colleagues of the late Irish Coast Guard rescue pilot Dara Fitzpatrick will gather for a second memorial charity run in her honour.
The Dara Fitzpatrick Run will take place at Waterford Airport runway on 15th September and funds from the event will go toward the RNLI and Dogs for the Disabled.
Dara Fitzpatrick was one of four crew who lost their lives when the Rescue 116 helicopter crashed off Blacksod in north Mayo in March 2017.
She had previously worked as an Irish Coast Guard pilot from the Waterford Airport base with Rescue helicopter 117.
Last year's memorial run at Waterford Airport runway was a huge success, with organisers expecting an even bigger attendance at this year's 5k event.
