A theft to a Castlebar business premises has been prevented and the intimidation of a visitor to the county town has been dealt with, as a direct result the new Castlebar Business Watch, officially launched by the gardai last month.

Garda Mick Toland is the newly appointed community garda appointed to Castlebar and the Castlebar Business Watch is just one of a number of initiatives underway, as a result.
