Passengers nationally are facing travel chaos for a third consecutive weekend as a number of flights are cancelled.
A French air traffic controller strike is causing disruption to flights between Ireland and France.
Some Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights from Dublin to France along with routes that use French airspace are caught up in the debacle.
It's the third weekend in a row that's caused major disruption for travellers.

The Aer Lingus Gatwick flight between London and Ireland West Airport Knock was cancelled yesterday evening, leaving many passengers stranded on both sides.
Ireland West airport Knock says Aer lingus cancelled the flight for what it termed “operational reasons” with many flights across Europe disrupted due to strikes.
A passenger due to fly from Knock to Gatwick yesterday evening said at 2pm yesterday afternoon they received a text from Aer Lingus advising of the cancellation of the evening flight and informing them if they could get to Dublin before 6pm, they may be able to get on an alternative flight.
Some of the passengers affected have expressed their frustration with Aer lingus.
Another listener to Midwest News that was left stranded yesterday said when they rang Aer Lingus yesterday evening , on the phone number given in the cancellation text, they were told the flight was cancelled for “operational reasons”. They asked what that meant and the company spokesperson said it may be because of “tar melting on the runway” , or “another flight that had to come in”.
The listener said neither explanation was acceptable.
To rebook a flight today tomorrow or Sunday, passengers are being quoted sums as high as 500 euro today. The prices return to more normal fares from Monday on.
