Plans have been unveiled for the 2018 Galway Arts Festival, which takes place from 16-29 July, with over 200 events taking place.
For 14 days and nights, artists from Ireland and across the world will descend on the city to deliver a programme of theatre, opera, circus, dance, music spectacle and visual art.
In theatre, the festival will present 6 world premieres and five Irish premiers, including two new plays from the Druid Theatre, and a new theatre installation from Dublin playwright Enda Walsh.
Kodaline, Gavin James and the RTE Concert Orchestra are among the music highlights of the festival, which is one of the largest arts festivals in Europe.
