Phase two of the Achill Aquarium & Visitors Centre is being officially opened today.

The acquarium celebrated its 2nd birthday earlier this week, and has already welcomed some 40,000 visitors.

It’s quickly becoming an important asset to the tourism offering on Achill Island, according to Minister Michael Ring, who will officially open the extension to the Aquarium and Visitor Centre today.
