Details

Applicants seeking planning permission for a house in the West Mayo Municipal District are being encouraged to attend pre-planning meetings with the local planners.

The call was made by council officials at this week’s monthly meeting of the West Mayo Municipal District.

The pre planning clinics give applicants an opportunity to discuss their proposals before making costly applications for planning.

The Cathaoirleach of the District, Independent councillor Michael Holmes has been speaking to Midwest News about the value of pre planning clinics
