The three men arrested on Thursday near Kinnegad, Co Westmeath following a number of burglaries earlier in the day in Co. Sligo have been charged and were brought before a special sitting at Carrick on Shannon District Court last night.

Gardai in Sligo have thanked members of the public who assisted the Gardai in this detection and are continuing to request members of the public report suspicious behaviour in their localities to local Gardai.
