
A young Castlebar man has died at the Beaumont Hospital in Dublin from injuries received earlier this month in a workplace accident.
31- year old Lorcan Deasy from Errew, Castlebar is survived by his parents, Michael and Marian, three brothers and extended family.
It’s understood he sustained serious injuries earlier this month after falling from a height while working on a roofing job in Kiltimagh, and passed away in hospital yesterday.
The Health & Safety Authority has confirmed to Midwest News that an investigation is underway.
Mr Deacy’s remains will repose in Ballyheane Community Centre tomorrow evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to his residence.
Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday in St. Patrick's Church, Ballyheane, with burial afterwards in Ballyheane Cemetery.
