Straide & Foxford United are organising a 5k fund raising run next month in Straide in aid of the Declan Smyth Recovery Fund.

The run takes place in Straide on Sunday February 4th.

Declan Smyth is one of the club's Masters players who became  ill just before Christmas. The fundraising is  to help with his recovery.

All footballers, sports fans, and friends are encouraged to take part in the run.

There is also a GoFundMe page already available via the club's Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/snfunited/

…..where anyone anywhere in the world can show their support, and help. Activity on the Go Fund Me page is described as  buzzing.

In addition a "Rock Night" will take place in Foxford on Saturday night February 24th
