Mayo County Council has announced a Level 2 Alert for wind and Costal flooding from 10pm tonight until 2pm on Wednesday. 

Members of the public are asked to exercise caution in going about their activities and to be mindful of fallen trees and branches and possible flying debris particularly when driving. 

Extreme caution in coastal areas is also advised.
