Independent Ireland has welcomed two experienced  Galway county councillors - Noel Thomas and Seamus Walsh to its ranks.

Noel Thomas, has served as a councillor for the past 10 years in the Connemara South electoral area while Seamus Walsh has twenty years experience as a councillor in Connemara North.

Their decision to join Independent Ireland underscores their dedication, they say, to serving their communities and addressing the pressing concerns facing Irish citizens.

Party Leader Michael Collins has welcomed both councilors to the party noting their extensive experience and commitment to grassroots activism.
