A Mayo Deputy has hit out at the Tanaiste's comments yesterday incorrectly claiming Sinn Féin has no Protestant TDs.

Leo Varadkar has apologised after Sinn Féin TD Violet-Anne Wynne, who is a Protestant, took issue with the remarks.
