
Sean O’Donnell,
Coguala, Clogher, Claremorris - unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital on 19th September 2023.
Predeceased by his parents John and Delia (née Boyle) and his brother Pat (Paddy), Gort.
He will be sadly missed by his nephew John, his nieces Marian, Deirdre and Patricia and his lifelong friend Alice, his sister-in-law Anna, his grandnieces and grandnephews Adam, Jack, Finonnan, Evie and Beth Delia, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Sean worked for many years in Mayo University Hospital where he was held in high esteem by his work colleagues and the many people he came into contact with during his working day. He took great pride in his appearance and loved meeting and chatting with new friends and his many old friends. He was well known and liked in the Clogher and Castlebar area.
Sean will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Thursday evening, 21st September from 6pm until 7.30pm.
The Funeral will arrive at Ballintubber Abbey on Friday at 3.15pm for Funeral Mass at 3.30pm.
Afterwards Sean will be laid to rest with his parents in Ballintubber Abbey Cemetery.
The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/ballintubber
